The History of Key Savings & Credit Union

Key Savings + Credit Union is a full-service financial institution. We provide a wide range of financial services similar to those of the "big banks" - deposit services, investments, loans & mortgages, convenience services and much more!

Originally incorporated as Hydro Savings + Credit Union in 1950, our focus was on servicing the financial needs of TransAlta employees and their families.

In 2000 we extended our services to ALL Albertans. We changed our name to Key Savings + Credit Union but we didn't change our approach to business: we continue to provide the high standard of service that we've always been known for. Our mission, to provide a friendly face, knowledgeable people and exceptional personal service, has contributed to our continued success.
