 Member Service Representative I or II

 THE POSITION

  • Under general supervision, provide members with a variety of services related to the promotion and sales of deposit products and services with courtesy and accuracy.
  • Provides information on the full range of products and services.
  • Processes member transactions using computer online systems.
  • Resolves routine problems with member accounts.
  • Solicits new members; fosters business development through service excellence and product knowledge.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all branch products, services and competitors' offerings by regularly reviewing literature and attending meetings.

THE PERSON

  • Must have strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Minimum Grade 12 education and experience within a credit union or banking environment is preferred.
  • The ideal candidate will have completed or is enrolled in CUIC courses and has one to three years’ experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A strong desire to provide quality service a must.
  • Commitment to ongoing personal development and learning.
  • Good working knowledge of Windows XP, Microsoft Office and the Finesse banking system, or banking systems in general.

COMPENSATION

  • Commensurate with experience.
  • National benefit package is offered.

Member Service Representative I or II - Permanent Part-time

THE POSITION

  • Under general supervision, provide members with a variety of services related to the promotion and sales of deposit products and services with courtesy and accuracy.
  • Provides information on the full range of products and services.
  • Processes member transactions using computer online systems.
  • Resolves routine problems with member accounts.
  • Solicits new members; fosters business development through service excellence and product knowledge.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all branch products, services and competitors' offerings by regularly reviewing literature and attending meetings.
  • This position hours will be 10:00am-2:00pm Mon-Fri. Additional hours will be available for vacation relief.
