Member Service Representative I or II
THE POSITION
-
Under general supervision, provide members with a variety of services related to the promotion and sales of deposit products and services with courtesy and accuracy.

Provides information on the full range of products and services.

Processes member transactions using computer online systems.

Resolves routine problems with member accounts.
-
Solicits new members; fosters business development through service excellence and product knowledge.

Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all branch products, services and competitors' offerings by regularly reviewing literature and attending meetings.
THE PERSON
-
Must have strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.

Minimum Grade 12 education and experience within a credit union or banking environment is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have completed or is enrolled in CUIC courses and has one to three years’ experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

A strong desire to provide quality service a must.

Commitment to ongoing personal development and learning.
-
Good working knowledge of Windows XP, Microsoft Office and the Finesse banking system, or banking systems in general.

THE POSITION

This position hours will be 10:00am-2:00pm Mon-Fri. Additional hours will be available for vacation relief.
